Stanford v UCSB This Saturday: Come on out to the Avery Aquatics Center this Saturday, 10/31, and cheer on the Cardinal as they play host to UC Santa Barbara. Saturday’s game is a must see as the action in and around the pool deck will be unforgettable. Some special things to note about Saturday’s game…..

1. A trivia contest (with prizes) will be held before the start of the game, and during quarter breaks.
2. Prizes will go out to fans wearing Halloween costumes before the game.
3. Half-time show by the Women's Water Polo team's 6 freshmen who will perform their always-entertaining "synchro swim" routine
4. Team autographs following the game on free high-resolution color team posters.

Parents, this is a really fun event for kids and/or fans that are new to the sport, so bring a friend, a neighbor, or anyone you think may enjoy being exposed to the sport in such a festive atmosphere. Admission is free! The game starts promptly at 12 noon, but we advise arriving at 11:30am to watch the Varsity warm up and participate in the trivia contest.

Jr. Polo Scrimmage Saturday: The Jr. Polo fall season will come to a close this Saturday with the fourth and final Jr. Polo Scrimmage. The scrimmages will again run from 9:00-11:00 am at the Roble Pool, and we hope that all athletes and parents head over to the Avery Pool for the festivities before, during, and after the Stanford v. UCSB college game.

Final Age Group Fall League Tournament Sunday: This Sunday, 11/1, will be the final weekend of Pacific Zone League games for all our Age Group Athletes. Please keep in mind that Sunday marks the end of Daylight Savings and everyone should remember to set their clocks back one hour before going to sleep on Saturday. Team rosters are currently posted below, and we will post the game schedule, pool locations, and maps to the facilities as soon as we receive the schedule from the zone. Athletes should plan on being at the pool no later than 45 minutes prior to the start of their first game for warm-ups. We will need at least one parent per game to help work at the desk. If you are available to help, please just tell one of the Stanford coaches on deck. If you know you will be unable to attend, if you do not see your son’s name on one of the rosters, or if you have any questions regarding the games, please email Coach Barnea at your convenience (email).

Winter Session Info Coming Soon: Information on our upcoming 2009-2010 Winter Session will be posted on our web site by Monday, November 2nd. Please check back then for information on session dates, practice times, registration info and more.
